In a new motion in Circuit Court in Clearwater, the parents' lawyers said three witnesses -- including one of the lawyers -- heard Schiavo attempt to say ''I want to live'' on March 18, the day her feeding tube was removed....
In response to a question from lawyer Barbara Weller and ''in the presence of Suzanne Vitadamo and Suzanne's aunt, Mrs. Schiavo attempted to verbalize the sentence,'' the motion said. Vitadamo is Terri Schiavo's sister.
'She managed to articulate the first two vowel syllables, first articulating `AHHHHH' and then virtually screaming 'WAAAAAAA.' She became very agitated but could not complete the vocalization attempted.''
The lawyers said the report ``is significant with regard to the question of Mrs. Schiavo's end of life wishes.''
Lawyers for Schiavo's husband, Michael, said all of her utterances are involuntary, and they pleaded for an end to the litigation. Schiavo, on life support since 1990, should be allowed to die in peace, they said.
Circuit Judge George Greer said he would rule on the matter by noon Saturday....
First of all...Terri Schiavo is NOT on life support...she only lacks the ability to feed herself...
Let's just hope...pray...that Judge George Greer will recognize that perhaps...just maybe...this is an opportunity for him to 'save face'...and rule - with the new evidence - that Terri's feeding tube should be reinserted until we can have experts wade through all of the evidence...
...Judge Greer...don't let this end with Terri Schiavo's blood on your hands...
I am praying...
