'There is no such thing as an Islamic terrorist. This is deeply offensive. Saying Muslims are terrorists would be covered by this provision'.
That statement was made by Iqbal Sacranie, general secretary of the MCB. MCB is the Muslim Council of Britain - a proponent of a government's proposed new law against incitement to religious hatred.
The problem? It looks like the bill will prevent anyone from speaking against Islamic extremists and the terrorists will have nothing to prevent them from doing what they do best...terrorism.
Give me a break, people...get your heads out of the sand...terrorism is real and it is heading directly for your front door...
...all of the wringing of hands over the war that President Bush has taken to the terrorists backyard - if that shrill opposition to the war doesn't stop - if you don't wake up and realize that we ARE living in a new, dangerous world with TERRORISTS that want to kill us...if you don't open your eyes, the next thing you will hear (because you obviously can't see because your eyes are scrunched shut)...the next thing you hear will be the call to Islamic prayer over the loudspeakers because the TERRORISTS will have converted the world to their way of life...
If this thing passes in Britain...God Save the Queen...because no one else will be able to do it...
