They Said It Couldn't Be Done!

Iraq votes - in droves.

Word is now coming out that there was a 72% turnout for the first democratic vote in Iraq.

I call that astounding success - we get nowhere near that number here in the U.S. and the only complaints I heard after November were from people that were 'forced to stand in line for over an hour.' No on threatening to blow us up as we head to the polls.

What does that tell us? Iraqi's WANT FREEDOM. Iraqi's WANT A DEMOCRACY.

So...Ted Kennedy...John Kerry...Hillary Clinton...and all the myriad of nay-sayers...go...take a hike...

This is a day that will definitely be marked in the history books as a great day...and no one should EVER forget that Americans gave their lives to make this happen...
