Mona Abdallah, who is a second-year political science major at U.C. Irvine, writes a reaction piece about the uproar over the hate-filled speech by Muslim speaker Amir-Abdel Malik-Ali...
And we have to sacrifice too, while we live here ... in Am-ri-ka. The belly of the beast. The number one imperialist in the world.
...But ... let’s call it a state, OK? And then you gonna go get some Uncle Tom Palestinian leaders to fall for this okey-doke. Two-state solution is off the table. No. One state. And check this out! One state ... majority rules. One state ... majority rules.
Us. The Muslims.
[crowd yells “Allahu Akbar!”]
I am having a difficult time trying to understand what Mona is saying when she writes:
Never in the history of the Muslim Student Union has it encouraged any type of violence or hate toward an ethnic group or religion.
The MSU’s only aim is to speak out against and inform the student body of the horrors and atrocities carried out against the Palestinian people as a result of the Zionist movement and the state of Israel. The MSU is not anti-Jewish in any way, shape or form.
Well, I daresay if you watch the video you will have a different opinion...
For Malik-Ali to shout that they are 'sacrificing in the belly of the beast' - I say to him: GO HOME!
We didn't force you here - you came here of your own volition...and now you shout hate in an effort to incite hate...
Get the hell out if you don't like it here...
