Dowd, berating Karl Rove for not being "one of the cool guys in high school", states: Like the president, vice president and defense secretary, General Karl wanted to wipe out the gray, if-it-feels-good-do-it, blame-America-first, doused-in-Vietnam-guilt 60's and turn the clock back to the black-and-white Manichaean values of the 50's.

The "Coastal Elites" have had their way for so many years, they don't understand when the American people finally lined up at the voting polls to declare "Enough!"
Political correctness - the nice name for the Left's "accept-what-I-do-and-don't-dare-try-to-defend-yourself-or-I-will-first-shame-you-into-silence-and-then-sue-your-ass" attitude - has finally run it's course.
I am sick of being politically correct. All I want to do is live and let live.
If lesbians and gays want to live together - do it! But don't expect me to sanction it with changing the rules or definition of marriage. Civil unions weren't enough. They had to go and shove it in our faces by judges that are legislating from the bench.
That is not what our constitution is all about. Just because you DO IT, doesn't mean it is right.
The PC demands that WE adjust our lives to accomodate THEM finally caught up with the Left.

It is not about that at all.
It is about tolerance and compromise - from BOTH SIDES of the aisle - and for you to try to paint it any different is more proof positive that you, along with all of the others, just don't get it.
