Eighty-Four Percent of Criminals That Appeal to Arizona Get Exemption

That is a statement that was just made while discussing the cesspool that we have here in Arizona over at Child Protective Services (CPS)

A caller who works for the AZ government, had a fingerprint test, but was told that if anything came back that was negative - she would be fired...

...okay...seems fair to me...

...but we have those fifty-five (55) employees who failed the fingerprint tests that are still on the payroll....what about them?

I just heard that if a person fails the fingerprint/background check when seeking employment with AZ they can appeal...

In other words, they can keep their job if they appeal, even if they do not pass the stop gaps put in place to protect the public...eighty-four percent (84%) of the criminals that appeal are granted their appeal and stay on the job...EIGHTY-FOUR PERCENT!

So my question today is...

Why have the damn expense and trouble of doing fingerprints and background checks in the first place??
