George Soros - The Devil You Say?

Don’t you just hate when you are suddenly awakened from a deep sleep with a nagging thought that absolutely refuses to be pushed aside and allow you to drift back to sleep?

Woke this morning with two words rolling around in my head – George Soros - and it appears that I am not the only one.

Who, exactly, is this guy? And, more specifically, what does he REALLY want?

The Democrats have sold their souls to the devil. Really. Their fervor and four year wet dream of taking back the White House has led to them uniting with – at best – a shady and questionable character; worst case, a dangerous criminal that will stop at nothing to get his twisted way.

After doing a little research this morning, I am left with these links for you to read. And read them all because it is important that the volume be turned up on this subject:

FrontPage reports today: Long term, if Soros has his way, the United States won’t even remain territorially intact. He funds both the National Council of La Raza and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, two groups that want to essentially eliminate America’s borders. In a much hailed 1997 speech to the National Council of La Raza, former Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo said that he “proudly affirmed that the Mexican nation extends beyond the territory enclosed by its borders and that Mexican migrants are an important – a very important – part of this.” As FrontPage Magazine reported earlier this year, OSI has likewise contributed $65,000 to the Malcolm X Grassroots movement, which wants to establish an all-black homeland in the Southeastern United States, from South Carolina to Louisiana. It would be communist, of course.

In May 2003, George Soros criticized US efforts to exempt U.S. citizens from prosecution before the new international criminal court.

George Soros, a Hungarian born Jew and self-proclaimed atheist also created the Project on Death in America to generate debate about the dying process and "alleviate unnecessary suffering." He is the Angel of Death. In the 1990s, Soros provided $15 million as start-up capital for Project Death in America, a grant-giving group that funds campaigns for euthanasia and doctor-assisted suicide.

My question: who would decide when and who to ‘legally off?’

George Soros, a proponent of drug legalization, stated "I'll tell you what I would do if it were up to me. I would establish a strictly controlled distribution network through which I would make most drugs, excluding the most dangerous ones like crack, legally available."

Soros's money comes from impovershment of the poor countries against whose currencies he speculates, and from deadly mind-destroying, terrorism-funding drugs.

George Soros is 71 years old, travels on an American passport, and presents himself as a philosopher-businessman philanthropist. He is, in reality, an operative for certain international financial/political interests, involved in drugs, dirty money, and irregular warfare (ranging from stockjobbing to media control) to subvert nations, and cause destruction. As of the 1990s, he had become persona non grata in many parts of the world. He is under criminal investigation in several nations-particularly Italy. In 1993, the chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Banking Committee called for an investigation, after the blatant episode of Soros's having made $1-2 billion in September 1992, off European currency manipulation. But Soros is still at large, and presented in the United States as just a "public figure."

Critics point out that Soros plays the currency markets through Quantum Fund, his privately-owned investment fund registered in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles, a Caribbean tax haven which has repeatedly been cited by the International Task Force on Money Laundering of the OECD as one of the world's most important centers for laundering the illegal proceeds of the Latin American drug trade. By operating from Curaçao, Soros not only avoids paying taxes but also hides the nature of his investors and what he does with their money.

Soros has been called a self-hating Jewish anti-Semite.

Former National Review contributor and ex-House Republican staffer Phil Brennan called Soros a "socialist billionaire".

Lowell Ponte of David Horowitz's Frontpage called Soros a "Billionaire for the Left".

Scott Shore of IntellectualConservative.com called him a "Soft Money Marxist."

I rest my case.
