At Democratic Underground they have developed a National Media Blaster with a page for each state titled Local Media Blaster that has email addresses of media contacts. Of course, they are expecting you to use it in support of Kerry...but there aren't any prohibitions anywhere on the site nor do you have to check a box stating that you are going to abide by the DU rules...
It really is kinda cool...you go to your state, give your email address (they SWEAR they don't keep a record of it...ya! sure! make one up), check which type of media you want to contact - radio, newspaper, etc - and they give you a list of emails ready to cut and paste into an email.
Oh, and btw, they recommend that you use BCC so that "recipients cannot see all of the other recipents' addresses"...pretty clever, huh.
If you are in the frame of mind to send a "Support Bush" or "Defeat Kerry" email, why not take advantage of their list? They already have done the legwork...~grin~
