Does ANYBODY in Washington know ANYTHING about history??
Do the thousands upon thousands of lives that were lost to torture, murder, inhumane and unimaginable horrors by the hand of Saddam Hussein after the first Gulf War after the troops left mean nothing to these people that we have elected to run our country?
The same thing happened in Viet Nam and Cambodia after that disaster...
Where have the cahonies of these Republicans gone?

The Republicans in Congress are literally wasting the opportunity they were handed by the American people...wasting all of this time doing nothing more than cowering to the loud-mouthed, foul-mouthed Democrats across the aisle...
From this seat it looks like they are only worried about THEIR hides...THEIR re-election possibilities and probabilities...THEIR job security...
Their actions on Monday sent one very clear message to me: "Screw YOU and every other hopeful American, it's MY ass that I'm worried about"
Time to find more like the 13 that were able to resist this stinking betrayal and vote thier conscience...replace those that are too weak to fulfill their duty to the people that got them there in the first place...
