Iraq's interior minister said this month that Iraqi security forces were tracking Zarqawi and had recently come close to capturing him, missing him by only a few hours.

MARTHA STEWART'S TIPS FOR REDNECKS
GENERAL:
Never take a beer to a job interview.
Always identify people in your yard before shooting at them.
It's considered tacky to take a cooler to church.
If you have to vacuum the bed, it is time to change the sheets.
Even if you're certain that you are included in the will, it is still rude to drive the U-Haul to the funeral home.
DINING OUT:
When decanting wine from the box, make sure that you tilt the paper cup and pour slowly so as not to "bruise" the fruit of the vine.
If drinking directly from the bottle, always hold it with your hands.
ENTERTAINING IN YOUR HOME:
A centerpiece for the table should never be anything prepared by a taxidermist.
Do not allow the dog to eat at the table, no matter how good his manners are.
PERSONAL HYGIENE:
While ears need to be cleaned regularly, this is a job that should be done in private using one's own truck keys.
Even if you live alone, deodorant is not a waste of good money.
Use of proper toiletries can only delay bathing for a few days.
Dirt and grease under the fingernails is a social no-no, as they tend to detract from a woman's jewelry and alter the taste of finger foods.
DATING (Outside the Family):
Always offer to bait your date's hook, especially on the first date.
Be assertive. Let her know you're interested: "I've been wanting to go out with you since I read that stuff on the bathroom wall two years ago."
Establish with her parents what time she is expected back. Some will say 10:00 PM. Others might say "Monday," If the latter is the answer, it is the man's responsibility to get her to school on time.

More Ward Churchill Falsehoods
Ward Churchill's charges within his controversial essay has given me another reason to challenge what I hear him saying:
The 500,000 kids lost to date thus represent something on the order of 25 percent of their age group. Indisputably, the rest have suffered – are still suffering – a combination of physical debilitation and psychological trauma severe enough to prevent their ever fully recovering. In effect, an entire generation has been obliterated...
This is one of the 'reasons' he gives to rationalize the terrorists flying airplanes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001...killing more than 3,000 innocent people...
The only problem is - if there were 500,000 kids lost - it has nothing to do with the United States.......
But, it has EVERYTHING to do with how Saddam Hussein and the U.N. ran the Oil for Food program....siphoning the funds off that were earmarked for the Iraqi people and using them for personal gain....
If those children died, it was not the fault of any American...it was the fault of their own dictator...and, by association, Kofi Annan, his son and everyone else that was involved in that abomination...

George Bush: Hero
It is becoming clearer to me, almost on a daily basis, why the world ‘scene’ is so intent on demonizing George W. Bush, President of the United States…Bush stands for Good…and the demonizers are truly Evil…true and pure Evil…
If you look at the makeup of the United Nations, a good majority of the countries are represented by people that aren’t interested in the welfare of their citizens…their only focus seems to be on furthering their own loathsome interests…
Examples of this are readily evident:
The ethnic cleansing that has not been curbed in Darfur, in fact it appears to be escalating again…people driven from their homes…women and children raped and killed…government sanctioned – no, government action is being taken to aid the Junjaweed who systematically kill the Africans that are in their way…
Sri Lanka tsunami aid has hit a bottleneck – reports are out that only 30% of the victims have received food and supplies that were sent to help…officials are keeping them for themselves and in some cases are rewarding their political supporters – who weren’t even touched by the tidal wave…
The U.N. Oil for Food ‘program’ scandal is widening… the Volcker report showed that the oil-for-food program "was tainted by corruption, rank political considerations and incompetence from the very start."…and the pervasive corruption isn’t contained solely within the Oil for Food program…reports are beginning to surface that financial mismanagement has occurred in more than a dozen agencies of the United Nations…
So, back to my original observation…why shouldn’t the rest of the world try to demonize our president?...anytime someone that is doing something wrong…and the light of truth is shone upon them…their first reaction is to try to deflect it…smoke and mirrors…
…the rest of the world thugs watch as President Bush works to protect his country and its citizens from true evil…and they know…THEY KNOW…they will be next if they don’t do something to prevent it…
…so, rather than change…they work on changing world opinion about the one man that comes to the job with a selfless purpose…
We watched and listened to the naysayers about Afghanistan and Iraq and the outcome of their elections…and yet, yesterday Saudi Arabia held its first election…
We are witnessing history being made…in spite of the demonizers…in spite of the naysayers…all in the name of Good…

What Will It Take To Get REAL Intervention In Darfur?
The tragedy in Darfur is not getting better...in fact, it is getting worse...this after the U.N. has 'tried' to intervene!
What is happening? Africans, who have lived for decades on their land as farmers, are being killed, tortured, raped and driven out by nomad Arabs...

NYT: 9/11 Report Cites Many Warnings About Hijackings
It is soooooo easy when you have the job of a Monday morning quarterback...
The New York Times reports that rather than trying to prevent 9/11 from happening, aviation officials were "lulled into a false sense of security," and "intelligence that indicated a real and growing threat leading up to 9/11 did not stimulate significant increases in security procedures," the commission report concluded.
Why should they?
I mean, it is well documented that President Clinton didn't take Osama bin Laden seriously...in fact, in 1998, President Clinton announced, “We will use all the means at our disposal to bring those responsible to justice, no matter what or how long it takes.”
It has been illustrated that an enormous opportunity occurred during the Clinton administration that would have allowed them to kill or capture bin Laden. Critics call it a missed opportunity.
In fact, one Clinton Cabinet official said, looking back, the military should have been more involved, “We did a lot, but we did not see the gathering storm that was out there.”
This is the stuff that makes people like Sandy Berger stuff classified documents down his pants...
...and in the NYT's article, Sept. 11 commission member Richard Ben-Veniste...former Watergate prosecutor who worked side-by-side with Hillary Clinton to get Nixon impeached...who grilled Condoleeza Rice last year as if she were a criminal suspect...lead Democratic counsel for the Senate Whitewater hearings while he was defending Bill and Hillary Clinton for all he was worth...who defended Terry McAuliffe when he got into legal hot water in the campaign finance scandal of 1997....
THAT Richard Ben-Veniste...is quoted as saying about the criticism of the FAA: "Our intention was to make as much information available to the public as soon as possible."

Fire Churchill
It has been an interesting saga to watch unfold as the world began focusing on the inflammatory essay written by one Ward Churchill - professor, self-professed Indian, and now widely accepted as a friend of the terrorists…
People are calling for his head, myself included, wanting to rid ourselves and our university of this "[I want the] U.S. off the planet. Out of existence altogether" maggot...
Thomas Brown, Assistant Professor of Sociology at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, has written an article in which he shows that Churchill has committed research fraud, and very possibly committed perjury as well...
At issue is a “brief supporting a motion to dismiss charges” against Churchill and other activists, who were being tried for having disrupted a Columbus Day parade in Denver the year before…
Brown’s argument is documented and supported by fact, something that Churchill makes a habit of overlooking…
One has only to read the sources that Churchill cites to realize the magnitude of his fraudulent claims for them. We are not dealing with a few minor errors here. We are dealing with a story that Churchill has fabricated almost entirely from scratch. The lack of rationality on Churchill’s part is mind-boggling. Why would a tenured professor decide to make up data—perhaps the most scandalous possible abuse of the academy’s norms—especially when in the Amherst affair, Churchill had a verified example of precisely the type of incident he wanted to invoke for his polemic purposes? How did Churchill expect to get away with a fraud that is so easily detected simply by reading the sources he cites in his own footnotes?
The answer comes into focus when you consider that Churchill is not writing for a scholarly audience. He originally wrote this story to inflame the emotions of a jury. Churchill publishes the bulk of his essays in small left-wing presses or in obscure journals that lack a rigorous peer review. He is writing for a non-specialist audience that takes him at his word. Mainly, Churchill is writing for other Indian activists, and for the broader reading population of leftists…
The point, you ask?
The point is very clear – Ward Churchill is a fraud…Ward Churchill is a liar…Ward Churchill is a dangerous person in a position of influence...
It is very clear that he lied on his application to the university, claiming that he is a Native American when he is not...
Last night Churchill was doing an 'in-your-face' style of challenge to just about anyone he could think of because he had a supportive audience, stating "I do not work for the taxpayers of the state of Colorado. I do not work for (Gov.) Bill Owens. I work for you," Churchill told the cheering crowd. "I don't answer to Bill Owens. I do not answer to the Board of Regents in the way they think I do. The regents should do their job and let me do mine."
Oh Really??
Last time I looked, faculty members employed by a state university are being paid with taxpayer dollars...
Perhaps you believe, as David Horowitz does, that it would not be good policy to relieve professor Churchill of his duties over what he hatefully wrote in 2001...I happen to disagree with that opinion, but I also believe there is a stronger argument for showing the prof the door...
I am not talking about First Amendment rights…
I have seen people fired for giving false information on their employment application...for much less egregious atrocities than this...
If this is allowed to continue at the University of Colorado, we will be sending a terrible message to everyone – our youth, the world, and worst of all - to ourselves...
and that message will be: The truth matters not one whit…

Religion of Peace Update...
There is an eery similarity to the threats by an Islamic group against a Christian worker in New Mexico that is now being reported and the family that was horribly slain in New Jersey last month...
In both cases the target dared speak out against an Islamic group...in the New Jersey case, the father, his wife and two young daughters were found with their throats slit and holes in their throats that appeared to be a result of the point of a knife digging and turning in their neck...
In the New Mexico case, World Net Daily reports: A Christian aid worker who writes for an evangelical news service apparently has been targeted for death by contributors to an Islamist website.
Posting on the Houston-based site Al Ansar, the Islamists blamed Jeremy Reynalds, director of Joy Junction in New Mexico, for the demise of another website, mawsuat.com, and asked if anyone else had more information on him, according to Internet Haganah.
In the subsequent discussion thread on Al Ansar, the Islamists posted Reynalds' home address so he would be "visited" and then a photograph with the wish that his ribs would be broken.
Another offered prayers to Allah that Reynalds' "fatty neck" would be delivered to them, a reference to Islamists' common method of decapitation.
"The thread closes with a heartfelt 'amen,'" Internet Haganah said.
Jeremy Reynalds wrote an article, "Internet Service Provider Takes Terror Site Off Line Hours Before Iraqi Elections".
In the New York Sun last week an article, Christians stalked on Islamic website, gives detailed information of the length these terrorists are going to stalk and murder anyone that debates them including photos, names and addresses...
The Sun's report says barsomyat.com features photographs and information about Christians who actively debate on PalTalk, including a group of photographs of a Syrian Christian, "Joseph," who now lives in Canada.
Personal information posted by subscribers clearly indicates they are trying to find his current address, the paper said.
One comment warns: "Know, oh Christian, that you are not far from us and you are under our watchful eyes!"
Another says: "Laugh, oh Christian, and soon you will see a big hit."

Churchill:"[I want the] U.S. off the planet. Out of existence altogether."
According to this report at World Net Daily, Ward Churchill characterizing 9-11 terror victims as "little Eichmanns" and commending the al-Qaida suicide hijackers for their "gallant sacrifices" may not even be the most outrageous statements University of Colorado ethnic studies professor ever made.
In the April 2004 edition of Satya Magazine, a monthly publication "focusing on vegetarianism, environmentalism, animal advocacy, and social justice," Churchill, under fire for his post 9-11 essay, said: "[I want the] U.S. off the planet. Out of existence altogether."
Churchill, who has claimed Native American heritage, is now being exposed as an imposter.
Churchill resigned his position as head of the Colorado University ethnic studies program but kept his $96,000 per year teaching post.
"One of the things I’ve suggested is that it may be that more 9/11s are necessary," Churchill said in the Satyr interview.
Churchill said he does not want a revolution. He does not want others to assume power in the U.S. Instead, he explained, he wants the state destroyed.
"I want the state gone: transform the situation to U.S. out of North America. U.S. off the planet. Out of existence altogether," he concluded.
This terrorist, posing as a university professor, must be removed from his position of influence he has over our students and young people...

Churchill, who has claimed Native American heritage, is now being exposed as an imposter.
Churchill resigned his position as head of the Colorado University ethnic studies program but kept his $96,000 per year teaching post.
"One of the things I’ve suggested is that it may be that more 9/11s are necessary," Churchill said in the Satyr interview.
Churchill said he does not want a revolution. He does not want others to assume power in the U.S. Instead, he explained, he wants the state destroyed.
"I want the state gone: transform the situation to U.S. out of North America. U.S. off the planet. Out of existence altogether," he concluded.

AIM Condemns Churchill's Statements and Actions...
AIM, The American Indian Movement, is disavowing Ward Churchill as one of theirs and condemning his statements and actions 'on behalf of AIM':
Ward Churchill has been masquerading as an Indian for years behind his dark glasses and beaded headband...
as long ago as 1999, AIM was trying to make it clear to the world that even though Ward Churchill was falsely holding himself out as an angry Native American, his anger had nothing at all to do with his heritage...AIM stated then:

On September 23, 1986, Churchill and Morris were expelled from the International Indian Treaty Council (IITC).
After seven (7) more years of investigations by our Council on Security, and attempts to reason with Russell Means, who continues to be aligned with them and is a central figure in this conspiracy, Ward Churchill and Glen Morris were expelled from the American Indian Movement on November 24, 1993. Six years later in 1999 they continue their misinformation campaign and attacks against the leadership of the American Indian Movement on the Internet.

The Keetoowah are a small offshoot of the much larger Cherokee Nation. Allen has worked for the Cherokee Nation for more than 20 years.

Lo and behold, Google is on the BUY BLUE list at 100%, which means that during the last election this company gave 100% to either democratic candidates or the DNC...according to BuyBlue: Google currently has a 100% BuyBlue rating due to political contributions for the 2003-2004 election cycle. No Evidence That Ward Churchill is Indian -"Churchill thrives on riding that controversial cougar but this time he poked it in the eye"
Native Americans are making it clear to the world that Ward Churchill does not speak for them, describing Churchill as a ‘self-professed American Indian’ and a ‘highly polemical writer on Indian issues…
The case of a professor or any other American exercising the right of free speech is always important to us. We support that fundamental right more than any other and believe that even the extreme views of others (which sometimes become mainstream) must be defended against any force that would silence our First Amendment rights as citizens and as free human beings.
The nature of Churchill's decidedly offensive remarks, however, forces us to critique in general the injurious approach to scholarship and basic human decency. We defend the right to broadcast and publish, but propose it is reprehensible to excoriate innocent human beings who have suffered great loss by rubbing salt in deep wounds simply to prove a political point and simply to strike (one more time) a political posture on behalf of the far left and under the guise of American Indian sentiment. Wrapped intimately with American Indian themes in his writings and lectures, and shielded apparently by his own American Indian Movement (AIM) security team, Churchill projects the image of the quintessential American Indian activist and/or warrior - angry, defiant, insulting, forceful and accusatory. Churchill sometimes captures the historical truth of a thing, but only to load it like deadly ammunition into his ideological machine gun.
Stunning words coming from a people that Churchill has identified with for decades…
…we submit that any reasonable and decent human being would find them to be disgusting and cheap words, a callous insult to the dead and wounded in the horrific events of that fateful day.
Interestingly enough, it is now coming to light that while Churchill may have been given something called an “associate certificate”, his Indian status has never been – nor, apparently can be – verified:
Churchill's Indian status is not verifiable in the usual ways of checking into tribal membership. We are expansive here from a national position on recognized and non-recognized tribes, southern nations and global indigenous people, but the question of relations and proper belonging in the tribal circles in the United States and Canada is generally verifiable for Indian observers and such appears to be completely lacking in Churchill's case. He has claimed membership in the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee, but reliable representatives from the tribe deny Churchill is or ever was, or has blood relatives on their rolls. He was granted an ''associate certificate'' by a former leader of the tribe (later impeached) for services supposedly rendered, not due to blood relations - but even the tribe declines to exactly identify what that means.
Some very revealing comments flow through the editorial over at Indian Country:
Discerning indigenous identity is not an exact science, but it has its rules….
So far, nothing whatsoever has surfaced that gives evidence to Churchill's claims to having Cherokee Indian origins…
Given the intense antagonism and attention focused on Churchill, his biography in this context is likely to be further scrutinized by the University of Colorado, the media, and others who were led to understand he was an American Indian professional at the time of his hiring…

To endlessly cite the misdeeds of the American Empire - while layering the legend of Nazi Germany over it - has the constant method of the Churchill scholarship... One can argue Churchill has projected the image of an angry Indian who became notorious for being in the face of non-Indians as much as possible - even though the evidence builds that he is, himself, non-Indian.
Churchill has made a reputation and a career out of these themes and in some circles has come to represent the Indian view to various national and international publics. This is unfortunate for the vast majority of Native people who do not at all share in his opinions about the brutal murder of some 3,000 innocent people during the events of 9/11.
Here is what we read in his original article, perhaps the more troubling for his own admission that it was written in a ''stream of consciousness'' expression. Churchill, about the victims of 9/11:
''True enough, they were civilians of a sort. But innocent? Gimme a break. They formed a technocratic corps at the very heart of America's global financial empire - the 'mighty engine of profit' to which the military dimension of U.S. policy has always been enslaved - and they did so both willingly and knowingly. Recourse to 'ignorance' - a derivative, after all, of the word 'ignore' - counts as less than an excuse among this relatively well-educated elite. To the extent that any of them were unaware of the costs and consequences to others of what they were involved in - and in many cases excelling at - it was because of their absolute refusal to see.''
The victims' crime, according to Churchill, was to be ignorant of the crimes of the American Empire. This ignorance of real international reality, he further recriminates, was ''likely ... because they were too busy braying, incessantly and self-importantly, into their cell phones, arranging power lunches and stock transactions, each of which translated, conveniently out of sight, mind and smelling distance, into the starved and rotting flesh of infants.'' For this, the logic apparently follows, they deserved to be murdered.
This is the clincher of Churchill's troublesome message, which has him now running up a tree from the barking dogs: ''If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I'd really be interested in hearing about it.''
In our opinion, Churchill hurts himself with this kind of callous thinking. This is not the way to represent American Indian peoples…
We will defend a good Indian argument in these pages any time. But, again, there is no evidence that Churchill is Indian...

This is not advice he will likely take. Churchill has jumped on the cougar of controversy ever since he came onto the Indian scene as Russell Means' main speechwriter in the early 1980s. Churchill thrives on riding that controversial cougar, but this time he poked it in the eye.

The attorney stated over and over that any professor has a right to say, under the First Amendment, whatever they want to say in the classroom, and because they are 'government employees', they are protected under the First Amendment from losing their job...
OH REALLY??
These liberals are so fond of throwing around First Amendment this and First Amendment that, threatening the rest of us with a lawsuit if we DARE challenge *their right* to say anything they want to say and the rest of the world be damned...

Don’t talk to me about First Amendment rights…Ward Churchill is a dangerous man...pesenting his extreme views of the world to our college students as some kind of utopian worthy goal...and the liberals and the MSM are choosing to gloss over this as if it is a non-issue...
I have sounded the warning bell many times over what I see as a putrid, morally corrupt cesspool that our universities have become…
This problem is not simply going to go away…we need to address this situation now…our youthful minds are being molded around these outlandish, anarchist, evil ideologies…and if we don’t do something right away the future of this nation will be in grave danger…

A "professor"- who teaches at a U.S. university - who likened World Trade Center victims to a notorious Nazi refused to apologize to the victims' families in his first public comments since the University of Colorado began a review that could lead to his dismissal....he said so to Paula Zahnon CNN:
"I don't believe I owe an apology," Ward Churchill said Friday on CNN's "Paula Zahn Now" program.
He defended his essay written on Sept. 11, 2001, that said those killed in the trade center were "little Eichmanns," a reference to Adolf Eichmann, who organized Nazi plans to exterminate European Jews. He said the victims were akin to U.S. military operations' collateral damage - or innocent civilians mistakenly killed by soldiers.

He defended his essay written on Sept. 11, 2001, that said those killed in the trade center were "little Eichmanns," a reference to Adolf Eichmann, who organized Nazi plans to exterminate European Jews. He said the victims were akin to U.S. military operations' collateral damage - or innocent civilians mistakenly killed by soldiers.

Friday Recap
I have been out of blogging commission for most of the day so I will now do a recap of what has been happenin':
UN Update: Reports are coming out today that support all of the previous posts about the vile activities that were going on at the U.N. under the guise of 'helping' the poor, starving, repressed citizens of Iraq....
Gonzales confirmed as attorney general - the ONLY thing I can say about that is...'IT'S ABOUT TIME'...
Paul McCartney is gonna keep his clothes on (thank gawd!)
Lottsa stuff on Janeane Garofalo's "Heil Hitler" moment.....this is soooooooooooo last year stuff (and the only reason I said that is because that is the only shit that the H'wood bunch understand) (Note: Hat Tip to HundredPercenter for this one)
btw...I heard Garofalo on Sean Hannity a while ago...she was talking about her use of ADD drugs...and extolling their 'benefits'...truth? it's all legalized speed...go figure....
okay, so it's Friday night...there are a lot of things I want to expound on...but...nature calls...so, with that, I am gonna sign off...
