MAXINE WATERS: "GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY!"

THANKS TO THE DALLAS POLITICAL BUZZ EXAMINER FOR THIS:

"What's good for the goose is good for the gander!" was what Maxine Waters had to say about Newt Gingrich when he was charged with ethics violations. Now that Waters is the one to stand trial for ethics violations, she's singing a different song.

However, what's good for the gander is good for the goose; and this time both the goose and the gander are about to have their necks wrung and feathers plucked - Charlie Rangel and Maxine Waters.

No, we have not forgotten, we bet you wish we had. But finally, after the filing of many complaints against Representative Maxine Waters, and months later, the House Ethics Committee has found in an investigative report about the Congresswoman "Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! " on 1-2-3 counts of violating House rules by

_A rule that House members may not exert improper influence that results in a personal benefit.

_The government employees' ethics code, which prohibits granting or accepting special favors, for the employee or family members, that could be viewed as influencing official actions.

_A rule that members' conduct must reflect creditably on the House

A VIDEO OF THIS IS AT C-SPAN..THANKS TO DRUDGE REPORT FOR THAT LINK...TEXT OF WATERS HAD TO SAY IN 1995 ABOUT GINGRICH:

"No we have not forgotten, we thought you had. But finally after the filing of many complaints against Speaker Newt Gingrinch, and and fourteen months later, the House Ethics Committee found the Speaker "Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! " on 1-2-3 charges of ethical violations - violating House rules by misusing official resources and the committee appointed a special outside council to investigate another serious charge about the Speaker's political Gold Pac operations. Well, it's about time. Believe me the American public do not appreciate double standards. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

No one should be so big, so important, so powerful they can violate the rules of this House and the laws of this country without suffering the consequences.
Newt may be Speaker; however, he too must account for any and all wrongdoing. Let's get on with the business of finding out who Newt really is."

YES, MAXINE...LET'S GET ON WITH THE BUSINESS OF FINDING OUT WHO MAXINE REALLY IS...IT'S ABOUT TIME...
