MEMORIAL DAY 2018
Ronald Reagan's words he spoke in 1981 are still valid this Memorial Day 37 years later - perhaps even more so.

It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have. It is a weapon that we as Americans DO have. Let that be understood by those who practice terrorism and prey upon their neighbors."

MEMORIAL DAY
Memorial Day is not about any of us living in this country.
It is about those that went to fight for our freedoms as well as for others in the world that needed our help. It is about the ones that did not make it home alive.
Remember the fallen warriors this weekend. If you are able to attend a parade, salute the families that lived without their loved ones all these years.
If you are not able to attend a memorial, remember them in your prayers.
Have a safe weekend.

TO SPY OR NOT TO SPY
So James Clapper - along with all the other bad actors from the Deep State - have decided that their plant; their informant; their contractor; THEIR SPY within the Donald J. Trump campaign when he was running for president was not actually a "spy".
Why, that person was "keeping an eye on things".
That person was just "observing".
Ever since William Jefferson Clinton infamously stated "it depends on what the definition of 'is' is", Leftists have embraced that idea of deception in their ever growing shell game against the American people.
On April 5, 1887 Lord Baron Acton all those many years ago wrote a letter to Archbishop Mandell Creighton and included the memorable phrase "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
But when taken into context of the entire subject that phrase takes on new meaning, still very applicable to today's political atmosphere:
"Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority. There is no worse heresy than that the office sanctifies the holder of it."
Even though Acton was writing about the Church, the same applies to the sanctimonious, self-aggrandizing people in power today. They will rationalize that what they did was "for the good of the whole" when, in fact, they were working to undermine a duly elected president - and with him - the entire country simply because they lost power.
Oh, and just for the record:
The definition of spy:
n. An agent employed by a state to obtain secret information, especially of a military nature, concerning its potential or actual enemies.
n. One employed by a company to obtain confidential information about its competitors.
n. One who secretly keeps watch on another or others.

thinking a lot lately about the state of affairs in this world.

more people willing to commit heinous acts in order to gain fame/money/power…stuff.
Yes…stuff.
It is clear
that people have completely forgotten the old saying “You can’t take it with
you.”
Because,
quite clearly…YOU CAN’T.
The Pharaohs
and ancient people didn’t know this fact. They had all of their possessions
buried with them only to be dug up centuries later – still there while their
souls had moved on.
It’s time
for people, but most importantly people in power or in powerful positions, to
sit back and take personal inventories. Not the inventory consisting of
material things – WORLDLY THINGS – but those things that make up their being…their
souls.
Presidents
come and go. Internet stars have their 15 seconds of fame (yes, reduced from 15
minutes in this instantaneous world) and the world moves on to the next
sensation.
Making sure
your spiritual houses are in order is something to do now and continuing to
ensure it remains that way so that when it is your time to go, there will be nothing to hold back
Saint Peter from opening those Pearly Gates.

The Anthem Veterans Memorial, located in Anthem, AZ, is a monument dedicated to honor the service and sacrifice of our country’s armed forces.
