President Bush yesterday stated "We are living through a watershed moment in the story of freedom," he said in the culmination of four major speeches laying out his strategy for victory. "Iraqis will go to the polls to choose a government that will be the only constitutional democracy in the Arab world."
The President also slammed his critics: "Some of the most irresponsible comments about manipulating intelligence have come from politicians who saw the same intelligence we saw, and then voted to authorize the use of force against Saddam Hussein," he said. "These charges are pure politics."
"Whatever our differences in Washington, our men and women in uniform deserve to know that once our politicians vote to send them into harm's way, our support will be with them in good days and bad." (my emphasis)
Okay...Libs...get this straight...we are going to win this war - with or without you...
We are going to continue to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS - EVEN IN THE DARKEST HOUR
Because, unlike YOU, we are not fair weather friends...
We are steadfast...
We stand for something...
WE STAND FOR FREEDOM!
We have morals...we have ethics...and we are not going to lie and try to re-write history to fit our agenda...
WE are not worried about appeasing the enemy with a weak-assed objective of protecting our own hides to the detrement of the rest of the world!
Our men and women in the military deserve better than what you Liberals have been dishing up...WE deserve better than that...
And none of your grousing...none of your shrill hystrionics...none of your lies are going to shake our confidence in the fact that Iraq WILL be a democracy....and Iraq will be a democracy because of the blood, sweat and tears that our Military shed...
And ONLY THEN will they come home...because the mission will truly have been accomplished..
