Jose Passes Michael

At least, it happened in Arizona.

What am I talking about? Well, just in case you missed the headline, until last year, in Arizona Michael was the most commonly used boy's name:

Jose and Emily were the most popular names for Arizona boys and girls born in 2004.That word today from the state Department of Health Services after a check of birth records recorded by December 29th.

Jacob, Anthony, Daniel and Angel (AHN'-hel) followed Jose to round out the top five names chosen for 46-thousand boys born in Arizona in 2004.

AHN'-hel??
